"Very clean, genuinely fine"
The place was really clean. The bathrooms were in good shape, the paths were tidy, and there weren’t any weird smells anywhere, which I definitely appreciated. Totally calm and normal thing to be impressed by, of course.

"Fun day out, though a little on the pricey side"
We had a nice time at the Philadelphia Zoo overall. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals, and there were definitely some really lovely areas to walk around. That said, for what it costs, I was hoping for just a bit more. A few exhibits seemed either empty or closed off, which was a little disappointing, but it didn’t ruin the day. Food and parking can add up quickly too, so it’s worth keeping that in mind. I’d still say it’s a good family outing, especially if you plan to spend most of the day there.

"Nice zoo, but I kept getting turned around"
I had a good time overall and the zoo was nice, but the layout kind of confused me. I kept thinking I was heading one way and somehow ended up somewhere totally different. Still worth visiting, just maybe grab a map first...

"So easy to get around"
We visited the Philly Zoo getting around was way easier than I expected. I get annoyed when places have vague signs or maps that don’t actually tell you anything, especially when you’re trying to keep up with kids. But the maps here were easy to find, and the animal areas were marked clearly enough that we never really felt lost. It made the whole day a lot less stressful.

"Pretty easy getting tickets online"
I bought our zoo tickets online and it was all straightforward. The email came through right away, and scanning them at the gate took almost no time. Everything seemed to work like it should, so it definitely made the start of the visit easier

"Saw way more animals than I thought we would"
I wasn’t expecting much after we got there, but the animals were out pretty much the whole time and easy to spot. We kept running into more than we thought we would, which ended up being a nice surprise.

"It was alright, I guess"
The pizza showed up cold, which was kind of disappointing. The fries were decent though, so that helped a bit. Overall it was just okay, and that part didn’t really do much for me.

"Fun zoo events every time"
we had such a good time. I went with my kids for one of the special events, and it ended up being really fun. The lines moved well, the staff was friendly, and the lights and activities made the whole thing feel worth it.

"Great zoo, but weekends feel overcrowded"
I really do think this is a nice zoo, and it’s clear there’s a lot to enjoy here. That said, on the weekend it was way too crowded for us to fully appreciate it. The lines were long, and it was hard to get close enough to see some of the animals. I get that busy days happen, but it would feel a lot fairer to visitors if there were better crowd control or timed entry so everyone gets a decent chance to enjoy the experience

"A really fun learning day for the kids"
We had such a good day at the zoo, the kids were completely hooked after the animal talks and kept asking questions about everything we saw, from what the animals eat to where they live and why they behave the way they do, and even though a few of the signs looked a bit worn or were kind of hard to spot, we still came away feeling like we learned loads and had a really nice time together...

The site was really easy to use, and I found the accessibility info faster than I expected. It helped me get a better idea of the parking, the paths, and just what things would be like before we got there. it made the whole visit feel less stressful because I could plan ahead a bit instead of wondering if.....

"The staff seemed really nice"
I kind of assumed it would be a good experience as soon as I walked in because the staff were so friendly. Everyone I dealt with was warm and easy to talk to, which usually makes a big difference for me...

"Nice zoo, but yeah, it gets pricey"
We had a good time at the Philadelphia Zoo, honestly. The website was easy enough to use for getting tickets, and everything was, like, straightforward once we got there.
The only thing that kind of bothered me was the cost. By the time you add up tickets for a few people, parking, and maybe grabbing food, it really starts to feel expensive for just a normal family day out.
I’d still go back because it is a nice place and the kids enjoyed it, but probably not super often unless there’s some kind of deal or discount. Good zoo overall, just wish the pricing was a little more reasonable.

"I Loved the Winter Lights at LumiNature"
I had such a fun time at LumiNature. The winter lights were really pretty, i think it was one of the more enjoyable family outings we’ve done lately. My kids loved it too and have already been asking when we can go back.

"Worth it if you end up going a lot"
If you go more than a couple times a year, the membership kind of just makes sense. We like being able to pop in for an hour or so and not feel like, I don’t know, we wasted a whole ticket or had to make a big day of it. The parking and guest perks are nice too. Ours paid for itself quickly, and renewing online was easy enough...

"A really easy day out with the kids"
We took our 4 and 7 year old it was a lovely family day. The zoo was easy to get around, there was plenty to keep the kids interested, and there were enough benches and little rest spots for when they started running out of steam. The food was on the pricey side, but reading between the lines, that’s pretty much what you expect at places like this. Overall, we all had a good time and I’d definitely take them back.

"Some nice exhibits, but it felt uneven"
A few of the exhibits were really nice, but others felt tired and old. The animal spaces were a mixed bag, and it wasn’t always clear who was actually responsible for maintaining certain areas, which made the whole place feel a bit neglected in spots.

The bathrooms themselves were fine, but finding them was more of a chore than it needed to be. There really weren’t enough signs, so I ended up wandering around and trying to stay patient when I just wanted to get there already.

The food was a bit on the expensive side, but the portions were decent and everything tasted fine. I wouldn’t say it blew me away, but I didn’t leave disappointed either. In the end, I was just glad to have a solid meal, even if my wallet felt it a little
